Velvet is a new line of products that takes a fact-based approach to skincare, making sure you not only look good, feel good but know what exactly is going into your skin. The name Velvet is taken from the end-result of what your face would feel with this brand— soft, supple, velvet.
The Velvet type logo was designed to emulate script handwriting, like a cool columnist signing off. The challenge in branding and packaging Velvet was to exude an indulgent, luxurious and playful spirit whilst keeping it as low-cost as possible. Simple sticker labels on jars were the solution, with the logo laid out on stark black and the rest in the brand pink to differentiate it from the pure minimalist designs of other brands.
